Ms. Gonzalez

I am pleased to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. Many of my students know me as, "Ms. G." I am a certified elementary and language arts teacher. I received my associate’s degree from Grand Rapids Community College and my bachelors from Grand Valley State University. I earned my master's degree (Technology Integration) at GVSU with perseverance and dedication. Currently, I am working on an English Language Learner endorsement from Aquinas College. Overall, I am excited about the opportunity to get to know you and your child. I look forward to the work and growth, we will accomplish this year!

On a personal note, I also graduated from Godwin Heights Public School (Go Wolverines). I am a mother to an amazing 13 year old son (Josiah) and a seven year old puppy (Mikey). We love playing sports, gardening, reading, and traveling during our free time. One day, we hope to visit Italy or Greece together… the only problem is that Josiah likes flying more than his mother!

My expectations for conduct and academic standards are HIGH. With your participation both in and out of the classroom, we can look forward to a productive, creative, and enjoyable year together. A good learning experience is built on a cooperative effort among parents, child, and teacher.
