Principal's Message

Dear Godwin Heights Middle School Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Godwin Heights Middle School! Our first day of school is Monday, August 18th, and we are excited to welcome students back.

As I begin my 12th year serving this community as both a teacher and principal, I remain committed to the growth, success, and well-being of every student. This year, we continue our focus on CHANGE—Commitment to Growth, Honoring Every Voice, Action-Oriented Learning, Nurturing Community, Goal-Driven Instruction, and Equity at the Center. These values guide us as we learn, grow, and create a better future together.

Our school day begins at 7:30 AM and ends at 2:35 PM. Students may enter the building at 7:00 AM for free breakfast, and lunch will continue to be provided free of charge to all students. The middle school office is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You can reach us at 616-252-2070, or contact our staff directly:
