Dear Godwin Heights Middle School Families,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Godwin Heights Middle School! Our first day of school is Monday, August 18th, and we are excited to welcome students back.
As I begin my 12th year serving this community as both a teacher and principal, I remain committed to the growth, success, and well-being of every student. This year, we continue our focus on CHANGE—Commitment to Growth, Honoring Every Voice, Action-Oriented Learning, Nurturing Community, Goal-Driven Instruction, and Equity at the Center. These values guide us as we learn, grow, and create a better future together.
Our school day begins at 7:30 AM and ends at 2:35 PM. Students may enter the building at 7:00 AM for free breakfast, and lunch will continue to be provided free of charge to all students. ¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2025-2026 en la Escuela Secundaria Godwin Heights! Nuestro primer día de clases es el lunes 18 de agosto, y nos emociona darles la bienvenida de nuevo a nuestros estudiantes.
Al comenzar mi duodécimo año sirviendo a esta comunidad como maestra y directora, sigo comprometida con el crecimiento, el éxito y el bienestar de cada estudiante. Este año, continuamos enfocándonos en el CAMBIO: Compromiso con el Crecimiento, Valoración de Cada Voz, Aprendizaje Orientado a la Acción, Fomento de la Comunidad, Instrucción Orientada a Metas y Equidad como Principio Fundamental. Estos valores nos guían mientras aprendemos, crecemos y creamos juntos un futuro mejor.
El horario escolar es de 7:30 a. m. a 2:35 p. m. Los estudiantes pueden ingresar al edificio a las 7:00 a. m. para desayunar gratis, y el almuerzo seguirá siendo gratuito para todos los estudiantes.
